What grass? Wheat grass!

A lot of people may know wheat grass as just a grass that makes your front lawn looks pretty neat. And cows, goats and horse's daily meal.

Wheat grass is a type of grass that is rich and high in vitamins and minerals, but of course it still a grass. So for some people, they may find these unpleasant to eat or drink. But let me show you what really caught my attention, Producers of wheat grass said that There's a lot of ways to take wheat grass. But you can try to put some in a juicer so you can take the juice from it and drink it from a shot glass. They say that even the pulp has benefits too.(you can use it as a facial scrub.) They claim that one shot glass of wheat grass is equal to 1 kilo of green leafy vegetables. If this is true then I'd better get one of these.

Benefits of Raw Food Diet to our Health

After a big feast or other heavy meals, we usually push back from the table, yawn and feel so tired we're impelled to take a snooze. We put that tired feeling down to overeating, and that's a part of it. But there's a further explanation. When we feed on cooked food, the body fights back. The stomach and intestinal tract reacts to the mass of cooked food by rushing white blood cells to the scene resulting to swelling and bloating. The temperature in the localized area rises and a fever develops. In case you didn't recognized this reaction, it is the same one the body exhibits in the presence of an infection and around a tumor.

Cooking destroys all the living digestive enzymes in food. The body is forced to secrete an extra supply of digestive enzymes in order to process the dead mass. Research in Europe tells us that the body reacts in the same way when just part of the meal is eaten raw- if the cooked food is ingested first. However, if we first eat some raw foods before consuming the cooked portion of the meal, the reaction does not occur.

Very few foods are not good for us in their raw state. Raw potatoes are just not tasty, even though their nutritional value is high. raw beans contain a protein like substance which can cause indigestion. Raw eggs eggs white contain another protein like element which inhibits the absorption of important B vitamins.

But it's delightful to begin a meal with a big salad of leafy greens and raw vegetables. Make sure your salad contains shredded carrots, garlic green or red bell peppers, hot peppers radishes and onions along with dark leafy lettuces, Spinach is one of the best. Dress your salad with linseed oil and cottage cheese based salad dressing and give your long suffering stomach a rest.

Artificial Food Pro's and Con's

There are artificial foods that doctor's also suggest to eat or use to his patients, because there are some reason's why they suggest it. For example a diabetic patient, diabetic patients are often prohibit to eat foods that are rich in sugar, so how can a patient eat sweet foods, here the doctor advise the patient to use aspartame. Aspartame is a kind of artificial food that is alternative for sugar, like sugar it taste sweet.

But base on studies they have suspicion in the short term safety on using aspartame, because they receive medical complaints like allergic reaction hives and rashes, there are also complaints of behavioral disturbances like sleep disorder, hyper acidity, depression, loss of vision, headache, diarrhea abdominal pain, menstrual irregularities and intense thirst.

Another kind of artificial foods are fake fats, example of fake fats are simplesse and olestra. Fake fats are made for intentionally make calories we eat are less than fats. There are fake fats that are made from starch like corn starch, cellulose gel, whey and oat bran, there are also fake fats from the combination of sugar, protein and edible fatty acids from egg white and whey that can make make big molecules that is passing through digestive system without changes.

But the side effects of eating fake fats is the deficiency on fat soluble vitamins A and E.

Understanding Constipation

Constipation is a condition of the digestive system in which a person experiences hard feces that is difficult to expel. One cause of constipation is the irregularity of bowel movement. We need to poop everyday for us too prevent constipation. If a person needs to poop and he pass because of certain reasons, the large intestine gets the excess water in your poop, that’s the reason why our poop become hard as rock. Another reason why we experience constipation is the lack of water intake, water is a big help to our intestine in digesting are food we eat. Seeds of fruits like guava are also causing us to develop constipation. There are people that don’t poop in three to five days, it happens on people with busy work schedule or they just don’t like to poop outside there house so if they couldn’t back home in three to five days they will not poop until they get back home. Even though some people don’t experience constipation, whether they don’t poop for days, we can only say it is constipation if we experience a hard-poop.

Try some nutritional oil like flax seed. That does it for most people. Next, you can get magnesium citrate from the drug store and I don't think that could fail.
