Skin Care for Free

Best and cheapest skin care, Actually it's not cheap it's free.. 5 years ago, I'm one of those women that was so vain when it comes to skin, I had my beauty rituals, i took food supplements, i applied so many stuffs on my face. And yes. It's all worth it.
But now that I'm one of the busiest mom in the world, I must say, i have so little time for myself. But i make sure that I'm still healthy and pretty. We're not getting any younger right?.
There are 6 skin care essentials that many of us WAHM just take for granted. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my super duper cool Dermatologist, Dr. Salonga, Who takes care of my skin and hair too, Who never forget to remind of these 6 things:

1.Eat a lot of fruits and veggies.
2.Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
3.Avoid fatty foods.
4.Get enough sleep.(When sleeping, try not to sleep face down)
5.Wash your face before you go to bed. Don't try to sleep with your make up on. Why? Believe me, you'll see zit city very very soon.
6.Finally. Moisturize and block. try to use a moisturizer that suits your skin. And apply sun block when you know you'll be staying longer under the sun, remember, our skin still needs sunlight.SO don't SPF yourself too much.

Yes, I know you might be saying these are very common, But the best skin care products would never be better if followed by these skin care essentials.

Clean Skin Routine

You'll be amazed at how easy it is to achieve great looking skin. Just get into the right skin care habits and glow your way to a health skin.

The Seven Skin Habits

  1. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. Water flushes out the toxins from your system and will keep your skin hydrated and healthy.
  2. Exercise for at least thirty minutes everyday. It brings blood and nutrients to the skin and tones those muscles.
  3. Get plenty of sleep, you'll look and feel great! Try an aroma therapy pillow for more soothing dreams.
  4. Wear sunscreen. The sun is especially harsh nowadays so guard your skin.
  5. Load up on fresh fruits and vegetables. The organic way to yummy, glowing skin.
  6. Don't smoke. Smoking destroys the vitamin C that keeps your skin looking young and healthy. It will definitely age your skin.
  7. Relax and unwind. Say goodbye to the stress in your life. Light a scented candle, dim the lights, and put on your favorite mellow CD or MP3, then drift off into the world of serenity.

Clean Skin Routine

  • In the morning, cleanse and freshen your skin with a mild cleanser.
  • At night, cleanse then exfoliate. Remember not to be too harsh when you exfoliate.
Skin Tips: If your skin is oily, try not to wash your face too often. You should only cleanse 2-3 times a day with a gentle cleanser. Washing until your face is tight and dry triggers your oil glands to produce more oil, thus making your face oilier and prone to break outs. When you wash your face, use warm, not cold water. warm water helps dissolve oil and dirt. But if the water is very hot, be careful! It can break the tiny veins in your skin.

Wash before you exercise. Your sweat acts as your skin extra cleanser. If your skin is clogged with make up, powder, or foundation, your sweat don't be able to cleanse efficiently. When you sweat don't wipe your face with your hands or your arm, use a clean towel.

Steam Clean: Prepare for a big bowl of hot (not boiling) water. For combination skin mint and lemon peel are a successful combination. Cover your head with a towel and make a tent of it as you lean over the bowl. trapping the steam. enjoy the feeling for 5 minutes then pat dry then exfoliate. Our skin constantly change. It undergoes a cycle of 28-40 days, then our skin is renewed again. Exfoliants are good for removing the daed skin on your face.

To remove excess oil without clogging your pores with powder, try usinga control film. It doesn't remove moisture, and you can actually get a kick out of seeing how much oil you had on your face.

Enjoy Happy Weekend!

Efortless skin protection from days work

A day at the office can subject your skin to stresses and if gotten worst skin cancer, you might be aware of dehydration from heating and cooling systems, ultra violet radiation from fluorescent lighting or unshaded window and prolonged exposure from photocopiers and other office machinery(not to mention what drinking several cups of coffee can do to your skin's hydration level.

The solution? Your first line of defense is a good moisturizer with SPF (sun protection factor) and antioxidants vitamins to help counteract UV radiation. If you sit by a window, ask to have a solar filter instead. If you're near a radiator, get humidifier or place a bowl of water on the radiator to help get some moisture in the air and keep skin more supple.

Avoid pressing the phone or cellphone against your face, a pore clogging habits that's a frequent cause of jawline acne. Disinfect your phone regularly, especially if someone else has used it.

Finally, don't stay glued to your desk all day. Revving up your circulation by taking a walk around the block or even the office can ward of greenish cast. Your skin will improve and you'll feel rejuvenated, ready to face another one on one with your computer or perhaps an evening out having your celebrity skin.
